We believe that quality journalism still has a place in Canada. 

We are driven by a passion to bring you trustworthy, valuable and thoughtful analysis and reporting on the science, technology and innovation (STI) policy and investment ecosystem in Canada, as well as incorporating unique perspectives that may be missing from traditional news sources. At the heart of our mission is to drive prosperity – of all kinds – and make Canada a better place to live.

 Over the past few years, we have tried to expand our offerings to involve everyone in our community, including those who can’t afford a subscription, by introducing free content to our website and by creating the free weekly news bulletin, Innovation This Week. We’ve also introduced offerings such as Canadian Innovation News (CIN), the Fast Policy Facts, Notables and Applied PeR$pectives blogs, and our white papers. 

Our goal is to keep our readers informed, and to bring relevant, compelling and unique intelligence and insights to professionals working in Canada’s STI ecosystem as we work to develop engaged communities and forge new linkages between the private and non-profit sectors, academia and government within Canada and internationally.
