Investor Session
Following the close of the UK RE$EARCH MONEY conference, investors from both sides of the Atlantic will gather to learn about their respective ecosystems in a number of tech sectors. As part of this session, selected companies from these sectors will give an overview of the different clusters in their sector and the particular strengths and opportunities that exist for firms and investors from the other side of the Atlantic.
The session will start with a networking lunch, followed by two plenary panels, one on the Canadian ecosystem and one on the UK ecosystem. Investors and established firms from Canada and the UK will present an overview of the business and investment landscape in each country and field questions about growth and investment opportunities from investors. Participants will then break up into smaller, sector-specific groups, for a facilitated session focused on opportunities in that sector.
The goal of the session is to provide an opportunity for investors and select companies from the UK, Canada, and Europe to learn more the investment climate and key players in these industry sectors. The session will provide an excellent opportunity to connect with like-minded investors and companies on both sides of the Atlantic who are looking to capitalize on new ways to finance innovation and grow their global networks.
